What cookies are

Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with matching requests. This website uses first-party cookies to operate the protected administrator workspace. They are not required to read public pages or to apply for an internship.

Analytics and external websites

Analytics starts automatically on eligible public pages without a permission pop-up. You can turn it off using the controls below or in our Privacy Policy. Previously saved opt-outs, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable collection. No advertising tracker or session replay is installed. An optional server-side Google Analytics reporting integration reads the configured property for administrators.

Google Analytics can measure public production page visits using first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<stream identifier>, configured for up to 30 days without extending expiry on each visit. Reported page addresses omit query strings and fragments; administrator and document-verification pages are excluded. We disable advertising personalisation and Google signals and send no form contents or user IDs. Turning analytics off stops future collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. Google's retention and deletion settings control records already sent to the provider.

Public production pages hosted on Vercel can use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate usage and performance measurements, subject to the same opt-out and browser privacy controls. Administrator and document-verification pages are excluded; reported page URLs have query strings and fragments removed. Form contents are never sent. Vercel collection is disabled in development and preview deployments.

A changed preference is saved in local storage key syraaw-analytics-consent-v2 for compatibility with existing choices. The earlier syraaw-analytics-consent-v1 opt-out is also honoured until you change your preference. No saved choice is required for the automatic default. When enabled, internal analytics uses session storage keys prefixed syraaw-analytics-session-v1 for a random session identifier, route visits and duplicate prevention. Session identifiers rotate after 30 minutes of inactivity. We collect allowlisted public-page events, source/device categories, form outcome signals and performance measurements. Analytics events expire after 90 days; separate anonymous API reliability counters expire after 30 days. We do not link these signals to student records.

Turning analytics off stops future collection and clears the current browser analytics session. Clearing site storage removes the saved preference and restores the automatic default, subject to browser privacy signals. Existing anonymous events expire according to retention. Essential administrator cookies are managed separately.

Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and other external services lead to websites with their own storage and privacy practices. This policy describes Syraaw's website rather than those external services.

Analytics controls

Analytics starts automatically on public pages. You can turn it off for this browser. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control take precedence.

Manage cookies in your browser

Use your browser's site-data or privacy settings to inspect, block or delete cookies for this website. Blocking these cookies prevents administrator sign-in or protected actions from working correctly. Public page browsing does not require an administrator session.

Cookie expiry can be shortened by browser settings, manual deletion or sign-out. This notice reflects the current implementation; its date will be updated when the website's cookie practices change.
